Andrew Orvedahl is a stand-up comedian, writer and actor based in Denver, Colorado. He has performed comedy coast-to-coast since 2003, from legendary clubs and theaters to the tiniest forgotten dive bars. He has performed stand-up on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon as well as on Comedy Central and NBC. He has two albums with over 2 million listens in Spotify and his third album and first special "Doom Math" will be released this fall. In addition to his own comedy, Andrew has written material for some of the biggest names in stand-up, as well as punched up numerous scripts. Andrew co-created and co-starred in the sitcom Those Who Can't which ran for three seasons on TruTV and HBO. Andrew also created the storytelling show The Narrators, which is enjoying its 15th year and has spread to other cities. Andrew is a member. of The Grawlix comedy trio, who put on a monthly show of all-new material as well as the weekly Grawlix Saves the World podcast.  

In this six-week class, you will learn the basics of sketch comedy. We’ll explore content creation, editing, script structures, and take sketches from page to performance-ready in six weeks.

Stand-up level 2 class will focus on refining the jokes you created in level 1 plus any new material you want to bring. The class is primarily a workshop with a stronger notes process and joke grading. We will also work more on set construction and a roadmap for continuing your stand-up journey beyond the class. 

In 6 weeks you'll learn the fundamentals of long form improv scene work. Yes And, Ensemble improv work, Playfulness, Who, what, where, when, & why. Pattern building and intro to a long form comedy show piece with a team of people. It's a also a nice way to learn how to communicate better with people and build good simple people skills.

In 8 Weeks Level 3 Improv Goes on a Deep Dive into The Game of The Scene. In this level, we'll cover The 6 Main Game Frames, Ensemble Improv Work, Group Games and an Introduction to Acting. The introduction to A long form improv ensemble piece that is truly connected to each other and the audience.

In 8 Weeks you will Train with our Training Center Director Amey Goerlich. This Class takes you through a series of Sensory Acting/Improv exercises to stretch your imagination, Test your core improv training, push your improv capabilities. This Class changes and evolves and each student is met exactly where they are by Amey and is designed to push each student to a new improv and comedic level.
