Steve Hibbert
Steve's nearly 3 decade-long entertainment career included work as a TV/film actor, theater director, improv/sketch writing teacher, and a TV/screenwriter. He got his start at the Groundlings Theater in L.A. as a performer and writer. He continued his association with the Groundlings over the years as an improv and writing teacher, as well being the director of the Main Company and The Sunday Company. Steve's professional writing credits include: "Tiny Toons Adventures" "Animaniacs," "SNL," MADtv," "It's Pat," "Howie Mandel's Sunny Skies," "Boy Meets World" "Random Play" along with a decade-long run ('98-'09) on the writing staff of the "MTV Movie Awards." Steve also did punch-ups and rewrites on a number of movies, most notably the "Austin Powers" and "Shrek" series of films. Steve's professional acting credits include: "Dr. Ken," "Rush Hour," "True Jackson, VP," "Twenty Good Years," "Jericho," "The Cat in the Hat," "Austin Powers 2," "National Treasure 2," "Just Shoot Me," and he played ‘The Gimp’ in "Pulp Fiction," (someone had to). After semi-retiring from show business and moving to Colorado 3 years ago, Steve taught classes at the Bovine Theater, and is now thrilled to be working with Chaos Bloom Theater.
